Covid-19 update
The outbreak of COVID-19 presents one of the country’s most significant challenges in recent history. We understand this is an extremely worrying time for everyone, especially for the older and more vulnerable members of society and their loved ones.

Our care support workers are here to deliver essential care needs to clients and offer additional support such as advice to stay physically and mentally active and well at home, for example, eating correctly and keeping active. They can also support with day-to-day activities such as shopping and picking up medication and helping older people to stay connected with family and friends remotely through technology such as video calls.

Our team is working hard to ensure that our clients get the support they need during this tough time, as well as ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our staff. We are following the Government’s guidance on delivering home care during this time to  ensure that we are minimising the risk of spreading the illness whilst still providing our vital service to clients so that they can stay safe and well at home.

You can read more about some of the measures we have in place to ensure the safety of both clients and care support workers. This includes use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and robust infection control training, hygiene measures and weekly testing which our care support workers are strictly following. We also continue to follow direction provided by the UK’s Public Health Authorities and World Health Organisation and keep a close eye on the situation.

Everything we do is with the wellbeing of our clients, teams, and care support workers in mind, especially during this difficult time.
